A patio gazebo makes a wonderful home improvement project. It is a great fixture for your outdoor living space and to make it more inviting and comfortable space for the whole family, it needs to be furnished with some furniture and other furnishings. Tables, chairs, couches and benches are great accessories for a gazebo but they have to be sturdy and weather resistant. Furnishings that can stand any weather condition should be set on your outdoors to last them for many years as these are investments that may increase the market value of your property. Cast aluminum, plastic and durable woods are good materials for your outdoor furniture. Wicker furnishings are great as well and they may be dressed up with fabrics specially made for outdoors like acrylic, spun polyester and vinyl since they will be left outside standing any extreme weather conditions. A growing number of people are enjoying the modern convenience of snowblowers. This is because it is easier for a machine to do the work of snow removal than it is for a person to manually remove it using the traditional method of using a snow shovel. Snowblowers come in many sizes and styles from large commercial models used to clear parking lots to very small electric models that resemble a snow shovel. These machines are a healthier alternative for the elderly when snow removal is needed. Each year many elderly people suffer from heart attacks and strokes while removing snow from their property. This can be eliminated by purchasing a unit and using it instead of a snow shovel. Most walk behind models are self-propelled which require little, if no, effort to move it through the snow. A number of snowblowers also coming equipped with electric starters that can aid in the task of starting it. Many people gain valuable insight from reading snowblower reviews.

The Regal lily is the royalty of my garden, with its snowy trumpets shaded lilac pink on the outside and a touch of canary yellow inside the throat. It stands three to four feet tall, blooming in June and July with clusters of bell shaped flowers at the top of the stems.
The Regal is one of the most beautiful and easiest to grow of all garden lilies.
My greatest garden achievement has been the growing of these gorgeous beauties. I planted six small lily bulbs a few years ago and since that time have taken slips and bulbs from the parent plants until I have about four hundred blooming size. A breath taking sight when in full blossom.
I have planted Modern’s pink lythrum among my lilies, a lovely companion of the same height and blooming time.
I have supplied the gardens of many of my friends with Regal lily bulbs and used the blossoms for church decoations and for wedding receptions. The blossoms are long lasting. I have kept a bouquet for two weeks before it lost its freshness. The long pink buds will continue to open after the lily is spent.
Beautiful arrangements can be made with daylily bulbs for tall vases using the long spikes of the pink tamaria or delphiniums with them. To make a low arrangement to be used on a coffee table combine single lilies with magnolia leaves place in a low white container.
For lily culture a rich garden loam is all that is ‘needed, they should be planted in full sun. The sun brings out the coloring and causes the plant to grow more sturdy, therefore will not need supporting.
Bulbs can be planted both spring and fall, always dependable. Re-gals may be left in the same location for years, increasing in size, height and luxuriance of bloom.
When lilies are well established, the young slips found growing at the base of the parent plant just below the ground attached to the stem, may be removed and set in rows to become future lilies. In one year you will have some bloom and in two years the plants will be covered with waxy fragrant blossoms. When the old clumps of lilies send up several sturdy stems the blubs may be lifted, the new bulbs taken from the old and re planted to the depth of 7 or 8 inches. If you have never grown Regals, do try them, no garden should be without them, nothing gives so much beauty for so little effort as the Regal lily.
There will always be a spot in my garden and in my heart for this glorious lily.
