How Do You Get Started in Voiceover Work?

June 2nd, 2011

I was drinking in a bar the other night and I met a girl who told me she did voiceover work in her spare time. She was a secretary most of the time, and worked at a tv station or a radio station. I sort of forgot a lot of what she was saying really. Still it sounded like an easy way to make a bit of money and I think my voice is good enough. Do you have to go to school to learn how to talk like one of those guys who calls football games? Or maybe get all excited about mundane things you are trying to sell. I really never thought so much about it really. Still like I said it would be really nice to make some extra money and better if I could make some extra money without putting in a huge amount of work in the getting it.
